What started as a small get together among friends to help the HIV / AIDS community during the 1980's has become one of the premier events of the city. The 31st annual Black & White Party stands out as a night that brings people together from all walks of life. Attendees wear black and white attire that can range from avante-garde or risqué to modest. We encourage you to get as creative as possible. Remember, this is not a black & white tie affair or a gala. It is a PARTY, filled with celebrities, DJ's, costumes, food & alcohol vendors, stage performances and live entertainment. The best part is that all of this fun actually helps raise money for for a fantastic cause. 100% of the proceeds go to support the programs and clients at Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN), Nevada's largest and oldest HIV / AIDS service organization. AFAN provides services to nearly 1,200 men, women & children who are infected or affected by the HIV / AIDS virus. This is a 21+ event.
